Las Ventanas al Paraiso: Now with 100% less hurricane

I arrived in Cabo San Lucas this morning to shoot the renowned Las Ventanas Al Paraiso and was greeted by beautiful blue skies with some really wild clouds.  As most of you know Cabo had quite a scare a few weeks ago with a nasty hurricane headed directly towards the coast.  Fortunately it died down and took a bit of a detour sparing 3 of the projects I was to shoot in the next months (Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, Capella Pedregal, and the One and Only Palmilla).  Needless to say it’s great to be here shooting with a week of great weather ahead.

I can’t begin to say enough great things about the staff here at Las Ventanas.  Rosewood Hotels has hell of a HR department to put together a team like this.  After a couple hours of walking the property with their head of PR Lorena Fabela and giving her a 2 page request list for the next few days of shooting she was unfazed.  Also hats off to Lionel Alverez the GM of the property for making this all possible.  Enough with the praise, there will be plenty more of that later.

I’ve got a 5am wake up call tomorrow so I’ll leave you with a couple of quick previews from the shoot.  Enjoy
