Packing/doing laundry as we speak for my trip up to the nation’s capitol for a couple of exciting shoots. On the laundry list of projects to shoot are the new 300 New Jersey project (aka 51 Louisiana) designed and created by a team from Richard Rogers and one from our offices at HKS,Inc.
Second on the list is a great commercial renovation project that goes by the name of Square 320 that was done with Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and HKS, Inc.. Should be lots of fun working with my tried-and-true gal Elizabeth Conway.
Lastly we are going to do some really clean interior shots of the new interior spaces of a John Deere office here in DC. I fully except to come from that shoot wearing all green and having john deere chew toys for my 3 dogs. Sadly I would I only be fallowing in the footsteps of my mom and dad and their copious amounts of legitimate John Deere equipment at the ranch. I’m usally the on that pushes for free coozies and hats!
On one more adventure for the trip, I’m dying to make it over to this liitle updstart deli in an area of dc that is going through a bit of a revival and get a hell out of a sandwich. Anyone who wants to read more abou their challenges and success on the project check out September’s issue of dwell, they’ve got a great article about the project.
